DIY Driftwood Furniture Using Weatherwash

December 3, 2018 by admin

Give you kitchen a nice update by adding a pop of the perfect gray wood! Typical stains are stinky and do a terrible job of creating a reclaimed wood look. Using Weatherwash Aging Wash: STORM on this very affordable Ikea cart, we made it look like a driftwood without the wait! This is hands down the easiest way to get the driftwood gray!

1. Sand wood. Only raw wood will work.
2. Apply Aging Wash and Watch the magic happen! Do not wipe off. Just allow for it to dry naturally. This is the natural way to age wood, after all!
3. To hold that super matte look, use Satin Varnish. It’s a great sealer for cabinets and the sheen helps the wood from staining!
Tip: Only Weatherwash topcoats can hold the look of our aged wood!
